Wine Tasting Crash Course

Learn the science behind the wines with a WTFLA Wine Tasting Crash Course.

If you love wine but feel like you don’t know much about it, wtfla‘s Tasting Crash Course is the perfect place to start.  This course covers the basics of both winemaking and wine tasting. During the 2 hour class, we taste through 3 different wines and discuss the identifying factors of each using wtfla’s Observe & Report method of tasting. Tasting Crash Courses Cover:

  • Basic Winemaking
  • Varietal Profiles – 3 wines
  • Science of Tasting
  • Observe & Report Deductive Tasting

    So excited to attend this class! I need a better understanding of why I like certain wines, how to describe flavors, and how to pair.. “Mmmm this ’06 Pinot Noir would pair really well with some Merlot…”

    Oh and thank heaven for Thrillist sending out the info!
